# Current drawing clues

The September 2026 drawing bank uses explicitly authored subject/category/clue pairs and playful subject-plus-setting scenes from scripts/build-drawing-bank.mjs. It replaces automatic dictionary-sense matching. There are 2,000 unique prompts, including scene variations; this does not mean 2,000 unrelated subjects. Character and person names identify the intended drawing subjects.

Selection, category annotations, hints and additional phrases have been changed for this game.

The dictionary entries and definitions are adapted from **Open English WordNet 2025 Plus**, by the Open English WordNet contributors, released under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Changes include category selection, deduplication, shortened definitions and removal of answer words from hints.

Short everyday phrases and drawing scenes were additionally selected for this game.

The complete answer lists are kept in server source files to preserve gameplay. Only an active artist receives the current drawing answer; completed puzzle answers are revealed to the room. The app does not offer a browser download of the answer banks.
